Interested in contributing to The Cascade?

Good. We’re also interested in you contributing to The Cascade.

As a completely student-run newspaper, we’re always looking for more students to help us out by writing articles, taking pictures, or even completing illustrations or helping design the paper. This can include anything from snapping a few pics or writing something short and sending it our way, to taking on a column or helping out with some larger articles and features.

You can get involved by coming to one of our pitch meetings, which are on Mondays at noon in  our office (room S2111 on the Abbotsford campus). Or you can email our managing editor Joel at and he’ll make sure you’re emailed our pitch list every week where you can see what assignments we’re looking for people to take on and sign up that way. Or you can just stop by our office to say hi and learn more about what we do and how you can help!
